Job Summary
Position’s focus will be Software development for Electrical Fusible & safety products part of Bussmann Division CPD group. Enrich & foster climate of innovation to drive growth & accelerate capability development. This includes
Support Product development & technology innovation (web & mobile applications) by understanding product requirements, design & develop feature enhancements and implementation of world-class high-performance enterprise grade software web applications for electrical products using technologies like react Js, Angular framework /java script.
Support & deliver on overall technical execution software activities of product development through complete Project life cycle & its processes.
Work with tech lead & collaborate with local & global product engineering team to perform software development activities during project execution.
About CPD:
CPD has business worth 1bn USD+ and is focused on offering customers the right set of smart, connected components to form a complete solution to meet their application needs. This division now includes approximately 8,000 in 20 facilities in four countries, working in three integrated businesses: Power Components, Industrial Control and Bussmann
Job Responsibilities
Engages in development, design and testing using JavaScript/react js for web-based products.
Exposure to build management, change management, and configuration management tools using JIRA/bamboo/ confluence.
Suggests and develop re-usable components and looks for continuous improvement opportunities in Electrical Circuit Protection products.
Share knowledge within the team and demonstrates flexibility working in parallel on multiple assignments/product categories.
Develops an understanding of product concepts and articulate product and software design.
Ensures quality of delivery in accordance with the plan adhering to the standard practices used in agile.
Participate in solution and code reviews with team members for modules/tasks and ensuring that best practices and efficient coding standards are adhered to.
Responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting web-based application communicating over.
Ensures compliance with agile ceremonies/work products, Management standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
Requirement:
Education level required
BE or B.Tech or Mtech or MCA in Computer Scienece / Information technology / Electronics & Telecommmunications
Years and area of experience required
4+ years of experience in product development with web based application development using majorly react Js, Angular JS framework /java script
Good to have C# .Net background.
Experience in programming language (CSS, HTML 5 /JAVA script, Angular, React)
Familiarity with Servers: Node.js, Express.JS, ASP and familiarity with databases
Building web services or other publicly consumed APIs
Should be flexible to work on mobile app development in react native, ios, android apps per need of project.
Should have good knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Bit Bucket and Bamboo.
Candidate should be ready to explore, learn and develop solutions for problems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with respect to written and oral communication, including the ability to explain technical concepts
A high degree of aptitude, creativity is required.
Technical knowledge
React Js, Angular JS framework /java script, CSS, HTML 5 /JAVA script, Angular, React.
Servers: Node.js, Express.JS, ASP and familiarity with databases

Soft skills
Good communication skills in English (verbal and written) to communicate information effectively to customers, and technical staff.
