DESCRIPTION
Morgan Stanley is seeking a candidate with 4-6 years of experience for its Compliance and Enterprise Wide Functions Audit team in Mumbai, with a focus on Enterprise Wide Functions? audit coverage. This includes Human Resources, Corporate Services, Fusion Center, Third Party Management framework and Corporate Communications. The candidate should have a general understanding of risks, controls and audit concepts. Additionally, the candidate should have strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
Primary responsibilities include the following activities:
? Participate in the risk assessment process for the coverage area to help drive the risk-based audit plan
? Lead and participate in continuous monitoring exercises with Management throughout the year to maintain an updated perspective on risks and controls
? Execution of the audits within departmental methodology, policies and standards
? Execute assigned tasks within audits, including detailed walkthroughs of key processes to identify internal controls, execution of testing, identification of issues
? Contribute to the development of audit scope determination, audit planning memorandums, and testing plans
? Contribute to audit file completion, issue drafting, and report writing
? Participate in issue vetting with audit clients, meetings to deliver audit results, and responding to proposed remediation action plans
? Execution of closure verification testing of Management?s completed remediation efforts regarding previously identified issues
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational & Professional Credentials
? Bachelor?s Degree in Business including Finance, Accounting, Economics
? Certified Internal Auditors from IIA or Chartered Accountant from ICAI
? MBA or Post Graduate degree a plus.
? Big 4 experience preferred.
Required Knowledge & Skills
? Four to Six years of audit or related experience with a financial services firm is essential.
? Ability to work across disciplines and closely with IT audit professionals
? Strong communication, interpersonal skills and team skills;
? Ability to work globally and across teams
? Proven ability to manage projects.
? Proficient understanding of the internal audit process;
? Proven ability to collaborate within a team structure;
? Proven ability to learn quickly and think critically;
? Strong written and verbal communication skills;
? Proven ability to work on multiple assignments, while meeting deadlines;
