Position : Entry Level Laboratory Technician
Job Description : At POLARIS Laboratories®, we provide timely testing of the oil, coolant, fuel and grease running through customer’s equipment paired with reliable analysis and maintenance recommendations so they can take action to increase overall equipment reliability. We’re committed to helping customers save more of their equipment, increase productivity, and avoid unplanned downtime.
Available Shifts
1st shift hours: Monday – Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM MST (Overtime as needed)
Mid-Shift Hours: Monday – Friday 10:00AM-6:30PM MST (Overtime as needed)
Purpose
The Laboratory Technician is focused on prepping samples and following work instructions to run tests with laboratory instruments. This task generates the high quality data at a large capacity for POLARIS Laboratory Customers.
Essential Functions
Meet daily production goals as outlined by management
Perform daily maintenance and assist Maintenance department when needed in troubleshooting equipment
Follow written work instructions to perform tasks assigned to you by management
Contribute continuous improvement ideas as part of overall company goals
Supportive Functions
Work collaboratively with other members of Laboratory Operations, R&D, Sample Processing, and Maintenance with issues that arise with tests and/or equipment
Active participate in all applicable safety initiatives
Work with the Quality department on assigned audits
Work with other departments to support continuous improvement
