Job Description : Responsibilities
Under the general supervision by the faculty of the Neurology Clinic, the Epilepsy Coordinator will be responsible for administrative assistance to faculty by supporting and coordinating patient care in the program specific Neurology clinics. Responsibilities include but are not limited to clinic scheduling, handling patient-related activities, coordination of patient care, and maintenance of regulatory paperwork.
Qualifications
Required:
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential material with discretion
Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to initiate, monitor, and complete tasks, including those not explicitly assigned or intrinsic to achieve specific goals.

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft and Windows computer platforms and proficiency in the use of computer programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, e-mail programs, web browsers, and Adobe Acrobat.

Demonstrated ability to operate Care Connect, download reports, documents and labs from patient’s chart.
Demonstrated strong organizational skills to maintain the workflow of a fast-paced, high-volume clinic in a professional and efficient manner.

Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and updated files containing a variety of documents relating to the patient’s care.

Fluent knowledge of neurological, pharmaceutical and legal terminology
Demonstrated typing skills of 45 WPM
Experience in patient care
