Job Description:
Provides administrative assistance to the equipment division.
Essential Functions:
Field maintenance requests via phone call, email, text or in person.
Manage work orders from inception to completion to include: creation, assignment, tracking and closing.
Complete lube report on a weekly basis and submit to appropriate individuals.
Maintain location report in an accurate and timely manner.
Monitor equipment recalls and facilitate compliance.
Create documentation and track equipment rental.
Coordinate collection, inspection and dispersal of fire extinguishers.
Assist in maintaining accurate equipment information to include specs and pictures.
Update truck cab cards, insurance, etc.
Purchase annual truck permits for all commercial motor vehicles. Respond to and address requests working after hours and on weekends as necessary.
Check email and voicemail on a regular basis and respond accordingly.
Provide backup to parts desk.
Facilitate campground.
Secure the LMF at the end of each day.
Seek out and participate in appropriate training and conferences.
Recommend position description updates to supervisor
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age.
Current drivers license with clean driving record and driving experience required.
Completion of grade 12 or equivalent preferred.
Computer skills to include but not limited to: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, research, and email within a network environment required
Display an uncompromising focus on safety by properly following company policies and OSHA/MSHA/DOT/DEQ regulations for safe working procedures and protection of the environment.
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times.
Be willing to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Must require minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to understand technical manuals and references.
Ability to perform basic math.
At least 20/40 acuity (Snellen) in each eye with or without correction. At least 70 degrees peripheral in horizontal meridian measured in each eye.
Work Demands & Environment:
Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, and as needed, safety-toed boots, respirator, protective clothing, gloves and other protective equipment.
Employee will be required to work in outdoor environments which may include exposure to extreme temperatures and weather.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, stand, sit, shovel, sweep, rake, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, and work on elevated platforms, possibly for extended periods.
Requires occasional moving/lifting of up to 50 pounds during the course of the workday.
