Job Description : Early/Head Start Network –ERSEA Coordinator

Working on the Grantee Support Services (GSS) team, you will provide support to community-based agencies to enable them to implement high quality, Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
Reporting to the ERSEA Manager you will:

Develops, implements, and provides trainings on enrollment, recruitment, selection, eligibility, and attendance (ERSEA) systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance in the Head Start and Early Head Start programs in the areas of ERSEA.
Coordinates the development of the annual community assessment of Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
Provide input and solutions to develop or revise agency systems for determining program eligibility in accordance with agency and federal policy, protocols, and regulations.
Guide recruitment efforts designed to actively inform families with eligible children in the service area specifically children with disabilities and other vulnerable or disproportionately impacted children of available agency services and assist them with the application process.
Analyze community assessment reports to recommend adjustments to planning efforts on design options, recruitment efforts and enrollment guidelines.
Develop and implement training for agency staff involved in eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in human services (or related field). Master’s degree in human services (or related field) preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience in early childhood education, early childhood development, and program management and coordination is preferred.
Knowledge of Head Start performance standards, philosophy and mission desirable.
Ability to work in a professional manner both independently and with others in a team environment.

The salary range for this position is $60-65K
