Position Summary
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional, peak-level administrative assistance in support of the short- and long-term responsibilities of the Vice President of Nursing and Vice President of Medical Affairs. Within general operating procedures, the Executive Assistant ensures effective and efficient coordination of corporate communications emanating from the office of the VP of Nursing and VP of Medical Affairs to the governing board, medical staff, leaders, patients, employees, and the community.

In this role, the key responsibilities will include:
Providing administrative support with responsibility for managing the VP of Nursing and VP of Medical Affairs calendar, appointments, travel and correspondence.
Interfacing with board members, physicians, Asante & community leaders, patients and family members, at all times positively reflecting the office of the VP of Nursing, the VP of Medical Affairs, and Asante.
Serving as the first line of communication to the VP of Nursing and VP of Medical Affairs and properly directs individuals to the appropriate person in the organization.
Coordinating Events, Board and Committee meetings, providing key support in creating agendas, minutes, and meeting follow-up.
As requested, supporting and maintaining a board and committee web portal, including maintaining documents, ensuring security, providing user training, writing users’ guides, and troubleshooting problems.
Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
Discerning and anticipating current and future priorities, needs, and areas of support for the VP of Nursing and VP of Medical Affairs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associates Degree required and/or equivalent job-related experience
Experience
Five years advanced secretarial office experience in a fast paced, professional environment
