Position : Executive Assistant, Comedy Development (ABC Signature)
Job Description : ABC Signature seeks a qualified Executive Assistant candidate to support the SVP, Comedy Development.
Responsibilities :
Maintain and organize heavy calendar scheduling, multiple phone lines and book travel arrangements
Proactively submit expense reports and purchasing requests for supplies
Update and maintain departmental charts and reports, logging staff submissions
Prepare general grids in Excel for reporting
Organize contact lists of writers, producers, creative executives and any related correspondence as needed
Read and watch material and provide feedback as necessary
Provide additional support to other executives and department as needed
Basic Qualifications :
2 years minimum administrative assistant experience at a studio, network, production company, agency, or management company
Strong passion for a career in comedy development, and the desire for a career in TV
Consume comedy programming and has an understanding of the comedy landscape
General understanding of the television development process and cycles
Knowledge of agencies and networks
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Must work well under pressure and willingness to work overtime with short notice when needed
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of scripted development experience
Required Education :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
