Key Account Manager – Sales & Marketing

REPORTING TO :

Assistant Vice President

FUNCTION SUPERVISED BY :

Director – Sales & Marketing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Keep and update record pertaining to key accounts’ business history and association with RAC and contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.
Act as the lead point of contact for all key client matters and serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients and company to ensure they do not turn to competition.
Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirement.
Work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed in meeting their objectives.
Anticipating key account changes and improvements and keep the management team informed of any developments at the clients place which may affect us adversely or benefit us.
Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal promptly with complaints to maintain trust
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
Visit the key clients at regular intervals for follow-up and negotiation of vital terms.
Prepare monthly, weekly or daily sales analysis reports
Aim to achieve monthly, quarterly & annual targets
Responsible for getting new business from the key accounts
Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
Follow-up for realization of invoices raised and timely payments
Identify references from existing clients and pass it on to the Regional Manager – Sales & Marketing
Work closely with the Technical department to ensure post sales service and support and Sales team to achieve better results
Any other work assigned by the Management, from time to time.

QUALIFICATION :
Any Graduate, MBA in Marketing or Operations (preferred)

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE :
Advanced IT hardware knowledge
