Job Description : About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Accountant…
In this role, you will:
Preparation of Monthly financial and variance analysis
Ensuring a strong internal control environment through the development of policies and procedures, ensuring their implementation and monitoring
Proficient in IFRS/ IND AS and related compliance requirement
Coordinate with stakeholders and represent finance team for ongoing discussion on new projects across the locations – Hyderabad, Bangalore & Chennai
Review of Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) account and capitalize the assets, Impairment, Disposal & Retirement & recovery of loss of assets, if any
Balance sheet reconciliation
Provide support during statutory, Tax & other audits. Provide relevant schedules & Supporting for financial disclosure and Income tax assessment
Process adherence – Ensuring all processes relating to the Fixed Asset are assiduously followed and all aspects of Risk and Controls in the areas handled are managed well
Ensure proper segregation of duties and manage access of oracle & people soft for finance team
Coordinate and provide relevant information /report for physical verification of assets as per CARO requirement
Actively participate and lead the process improvement projects, Internal tools
Required Qualifications
Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 4-6 year of experience in controllership area including day to day accounting, reporting, costing, audit, and risk management. Additional certification in IFRS will be preferred
Solid understanding and experience with internal control frameworks
Experience of ERP, Power bi, alteryx, Tableau tools
Excellent verbal, written & communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power point
Ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and in a time bound manner
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
High attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in big audit firm in assurance or corporate account function involving multiple businesses is desirable
Should be a good team player and able to work effectively across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
