Position : Financial Controller
Job Description : FENDI regional finance team in Dubai is looking for a financial controller who, reporting to the Finance Director, will lead the finance and accounting operations of the assigned retail subsidiaries in the region.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monthly financial closing and reporting (including input in the corporate consolidation tool), ensuring correct and timely completion of Group Management Reporting
Accounting supervision, from general ledger review, up to the delivery of statutory financial statements
Treasury coordination and bank relationship
Management accounting support tasks
Operating expenses planning and budgeting process (liaising with the various head of departments)
Cost control and analysis (acting as a business partner for all departments involved)
Preparing, analyzing and sharing monthly business reports
Regular visit to the store network for store manager finance training and internal control
Supporting with ad hoc analysis and projects
Internal control activities
Profile
You have at least 3 years of experience as business analyst/financial controller in a fast-paced multinational environment
Audit experience will be considered as a plus
You have a strong background in finance/business controlling and you are comfortable discussing accounting technical matters
You are quality oriented and meet deadlines, you have the capability of being self-mobilize and mobilizing others for results
You have excellent organization and time management skills
You have business awareness and you can work hands on and across all levels in the organization
You have strong analytical capability to work with figures and have keen eye for details
You are an experienced IT user, especially with MS Excel (a previous experience with a larger ERP system, preferably SAP, will be considered a plus)
You can effectively cope with change and you can decide and act without having the total picture
You can be a reliable source of information
You must be fluent in English, communication will include direct interaction with senior management
Arabic will be considered a plus
