Responsibilities:

Helper Gen 2 $21.00

Employees current and future must have performed work as Safety attendant role to a competent level or have skill sets in light equipment operation such as but not limited to forklift, manlift, and other associated equipment. Must be Capable to meet needs for supporting RX loading and unloading. This will include on the job training and willingness to advance skill set to work in 2-to-4-person team to said duties. Needed skill includes performing work with respiratory protection, Half face, Full face, and fresh air. Competent at signaling cranes and basic rigging and rigging safety. Perform general laborer work as needed.

Helper Gen 1 $23.00

Employees must have meet requirements of Helper Gen 2. Added skill sets will include being able to take a lead role in loading and unloading RX activities and mentoring and assisting in training of Laborer skill sets. Other skill sets to include RX clean out duty’s including chipping of catalyst and vacuum removal and being able to run both forklift and manlift. Additional skill sets to be considered for Helper 1 may include running snow removal equipment. Perform general laborer work as needed.

Constantly patrolling areas where “hot work” is being performed, maintaining vigilance of potential fires.
Being familiar with facilities and procedures for sounding an alarm in the event of a fire and having a means of notifying emergency services.
Having fire-extinguishing equipment readily available and being well-trained in its use.
Maintaining the conditions and requirements stated on the safety permit.
Inspecting the entire work area to look for potential release of flammable vapors or liquids before, during, and at the end of each shift.
Being prepared to operate fire extinguishers, hydrants, fixed monitors, and hose carts anytime.
Never leaving the job site while the work is being done.
Look and perform professionally at all times.
Communicate well with crew, Site Superintendent and others you may come into contact with on the job site.
Complete fire permits and handle paperwork.
Qualifications:

Requirements for this position include a high school diploma, a TWIC Card, and RSO

Must be able to pass a physical, pre-employment drug screen, alcohol test, and a background check.

Experience within an oil and gas setting is preferable. Candidates for this position must be able to climb stairs and ladders and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
