LSG Sky Chefs a part of the LSG Group with over 75 years of Catering history is immediately hiring, full time team players to prepare and process food orders offered through our Ghost Kitchen operations operated in the Chicago land area.
This is a brand new business venture and we want to add great team members who want to make a difference. If you enjoy a fast-paced, team-based production environment with a focus on quality food preparation, food service and delivery, this position may be for you.
Pay rate: $19.00/hour
Signing bonus $1,000 after completing 3 months on the job
Main responsibilities:

Prepares food orders, by following established recipes/procedures ensuring high-quality food every time.
Properly assembles and packs orders for pick up.
Ensures all orders are complete, accurate, and are at proper temperature.
Interacts courteously and efficiently with customers.
Accepts deliveries of products and stores them accordingly.
Assists with ordering and restocking new supplies through daily inventory counts and par level reviews.
Addresses and resolves any customer complaints and escalates when necessary.
Maintains an organized, clean, and sanitary work place.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education: High School or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Quality-focused with attention to detail; capable of identifying and correcting errors and deficiencies
Ability to function quickly and precisely under pressure.
Ability to multitask
Possess problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Ability to understand and utilize appropriate software/hardware including CBASE and Inventory Management programs.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, regulations, and best practices.
Ability to drive a refrigerated van/truck in city conditions – no CDL required

Work Environment

Majority of workday is spent delivering goods from the production kitchen to the service kitchens
Conditions are transportation-based and typical of local delivery service providers.
Tasks can be physically demanding, requiring some lifting, bending and standing.
