Position : Food Service Worker – Dietary

Job Description : The Food Service Worker may work anywhere on property where food is prepared and/or served. This person will assist in setup and serving of food from patient trayline, counters and steamtables. This person may prepare simple food items. Duties will include cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Keck medicine of USC may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
Minimum Education: REQUIRED: • High School Diploma, GED or approved High School Equivalent Certificate is required. If no High Diploma, GED or Equivalent, a minimum of 1 year of experience is required as a substitution of education. Minimum Experience/Knowledge: • Minimum of one-year experience in related field. • If no High Diploma, GED or Equivalent, a minimum of 1 year of experience is required as a substitution of education. Required License/Certification: REQUIRED: • Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
