Job Description : Job Description: Professional couple in the Gold Coast seeks knowledgeable, conscientious nanny for their 8 month old baby boy.Schedule/Hours: Guaranteed 40-45 hours per week pending final schedule determined by family and applicant. Example: 8:00am – 5:30pm with an early release Friday.

Compensation*: $1,000- $1,170/week + standard benefits

Job Details and Responsibilities:

One infant. 8 months old.
Responsibilities include all care of the child: feeding, facilitating naps, reading, singing, etc.
Nanny should be knowledgeable regarding developmental milestones such as sleep schedules/wake windows, fine motor skills, walking, potty training, etc.
Nanny will actively engage in a fun yet developmental activities for the child inside and out of doors. Plan activities to stimulate growth and development.
Light housekeeping such as children’s laundry and bedding, maintain common areas such as playrooms and child’s rooms by keeping them tidy, cleaning dishes, unloading dishwasher, wiping down kitchen surfaces, etc.
Nanny should be comfortable taking the initiative.
One parent will be partially working from home. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.
Nanny should be reasonably flexible and able to come early or stay late with advanced notice.

Qualifications:

Substantive experience with infants is required. The ideal candidate is comfortable staying with the family long-term as they would like more children.
Family has a medium sized, friendly dog. No care is required but nanny should enjoy the company of dogs.
Curious & willing to communicate/work as a team with the parents. Must have strong English skills.
Reliable and dependable.
Positive attitude and eager to learn more.
Driving is not required. However, if the nanny does drive, street parking is available near the home.
COVID vaccine + booster, TDAP and the flu shot are requirements of the job.
