Job Description : Description
At QuEST, we are seeking a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. Full stack developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.
Full stack developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Working in autonomous teams and across the capability areas, contributing to the development and maintenance of products and solutions, community practices at the core of your delivery.
Being an active part in our product development, sparring with product owners and business specialists
Developing front end and back-end applications.
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
Designing and developing APIs.
Code Reviews within an agility focused iterative development approach
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
Being accountable for delivering quality software quickly, reliably and safely to production, and understanding the customer impact and experience of your contribution
Breakdown and analyze complex workflows and systems, identify inefficiencies/areas for improvement, and define solutions to improve the client experience
Skills and Qualifications
Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as NodeJS, ReactJS, Angular JS.
Frontend: sentry + Nodejs , React, websockets, material ui, (preferred full stack developer)
Backend: Java spring boot, postgres, kafka, kubernetes, websockets, JS, JVM, Java/Kotlin, Node/Typescript, Python, Cloud systems knowledge (vendor independent), Cloud agnostic applications, 12 factor app, Serverless, Event-Architectures, API.
Experience in implementing Test automation practices.
Experience in building cloud agnostic products.
Experience in Cloud platforms like GCP (Preferred), AWS, AZURE.
Experience in CI/CD.
Experience working with Docker.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Knowledge and experience with agile development, and good technical acumen required.
Good problem-solving skills.
Self-directed and detail-oriented.
Excellent oral and written communication.
6+ years in professional IT experience
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or comparable relevant experience.
