Job Description : Your field of responsibility
Your responsibilities include:
Build and maintain governance of the functional team
Key primary escalation contact for functional managers, internal and external clients
Responsible and accountable for day to day processing e.g. Pre-matching, Fails, Confirmation, Settlements, Break Resolution etc.
Consistently meet Key Performance Indicators /KRI and deliverables
Responsible to manage escalations by liaising with the internal & external partners
Incident management – Transparency on control/process failures. Suggest and implement strong remediation action
Communication with Front Office, Trading Personnel and External Clients is a fundamental part of the role
Active participation in firm-wide strategic-initiatives including but not limited to, identify process-improvements and efficiency opportunities in the daily workflow
Manage efficiently a team size of 6-8 staff. Perform team appraisals and provide guidance on career development
Lead, motivate, and develop teams to create a high-performance culture and enhance the knowledge base, skills, talent and capability
Monitor Supervisory controls on day to day basis
Manage Run the Bank/Change the Bank Change initiatives
Manage human capital, attrition, cross training plans etc.

A typical day for the team is verifying trade economics from Front office system, confirmation/pre-matching, settlement of trades & break resolution.
The function works in a controlled environment, with strict adherence to control checklist, escalation matrix etc.

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Investment Banking experience in either products such as OTC, FX, Money Market, Securities, Asset Servicing, and Listed Derivatives
Excellent attention to detail, pro-activeness, excellent communication skills, risk/control-focused approach, and positive attitude
Client focused – when dealing with internal or external clients your goal is to resolve their issues on priority
Knowledge on Market practices & regulatory framework
Self-motivated individual who can work on own initiative and deliver on time whilst also being a team-player
Ability to multitask, prioritize, complete/review procedures whilst working towards strict deadlines is an essential requirement
Outstanding analytical, problem solving, leadership and decision making skills
Outstanding people, partner management skills
