Job Description : General Labor & WarehouseAJM Packaging CorporationSouthgate, MIPay: Starting at $ 15 to $ 19 per hour, 1st review and pay increase of up to $1 per hour at 90 days. Our current open positions include Packers, Stackers, Machine Tenders, Roll Setters, Balers, Utility, Warehouse and Dock professionals.Responsibilities:Perform a range of production support responsibilities, to include various appropriate machine adjustments and a range of maintenance tasksSupport start-up operations by stripping, preparing, setting and changing rollsGather finished product from machines and box, bag or package as requiredCheck the condition and quality of the finished product and remove any that do not meet AJM quality standardsMaintain accurate count of product when packing or bagging, as well as, keeping pace with the varying production speeds/levelsSecure cases to prevent shifting or moving by stacking them in an orderly mannerComplete all other duties the Supervisor deems necessaryMinimum Requirements –High School Diploma or GED preferredMust be 18 years of agePrevious Factory or Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not requiredBenefits –At AJM, our comprehensive “Cafeteria Benefits Plan” and “Flexible Spending Arrangement” (FSA), truly set us apart from the competition.
