Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Riverside Farm Cultivation Team, you will gain a full understanding of the state-of-the-art cultivation facility. You will perform day-to-day cultivation operations with primary responsibility over specific areas.. Every day is a different challenge and you will be looked at to consistently ensure the highest consistent quality. You are a team player, with a high initiative to work on your own as well. You are able to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
The Cultivation Agent is responsible for assisting the Cultivation Manager in monitoring and maintaining plant production and health. Cultivation Agents will assist with all stages of the cultivation process to include planting, watering, fertilizing, trimming, pruning, and harvesting while maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient production area. Agents will maintain and monitor plant production and quality control measures in compliance with state regulations and standards set by Riverside Farm.
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or plants up to 75 lbs. for extended periods
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment
Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the Department of Commerce
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Must have reliable transportation
OTHER INFORMATION
Riverside Farm is on a biweekly pay schedule, all employees are eligible for pay increases and annual reviews. Employee benefits are eligible on all new hires on the first full month after 30 days of employment.
