The Role

Special Team Member Guest Service Dom’s Kitchen & Market Special Team Member Guest Service will be a charismatic and engaging employee dedicated to consistently meeting and exceeding guest expectations for an authentic Talk of the Town shopping experience! You convey an enchanting presence of strength, trust, warmth and sincerity on your quest to blend your enthusiastic Talk of the Town exceptional service with delighted guests! You are destined to be the team member consistently delivering incredibly personalized Talk of the Town service to ecstatic guests who become loyal brand ambassadors! As a Special Team Member Guest Service, you will work beside a dynamic Guest Checkout team dedicated to delivering Talk of the Town Guest Service!

Responsibilities

Dom’s Kitchen & Market Special Team Member Guest Service will assist the Special Team Captain and Special Team Lead Guest Service with Guest Checkout operations and assist with accountability for total Guest Checkout that merges your love for people – both team members and guests – with operational excellence. You will be:

Measured and rewarded by your ability to deliver Talk of the Town Guest Service, drive optimal Guest Checkout teams’ performance and maintain Guest Checkout operations
Accountable for the extraordinary experience of your guests
Responsible for engaging conversations with guests discussing their shopping experience at Dom’s and ensure each guest receives an extraordinary Talk of the Town guest experience
Responsible to forward guest inquiries/concerns to Special Team Captain or Lead for resolve
Focused on high spirited, fast paced momentum

Expected to successfully train and continue development of expertise to enhance the guest experience and be part of the first-class Guest Checkout team leading to inspired Guest Service teamwork creating an inviting atmosphere for guests
Expected to assist with work duties across the Guest Checkout department inclusive of prioritizing guest service, assisting guests with product needs or questions, assisting with unloading of guest groceries, accurate and timely cashiering, appropriate bagging, cart pickup from parking lot
Accountable to support Team Captain and Team Lead with daily Cash Management, accurate drawer totals, Service Desk/Cashier procedures
Responsible to maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance program for Guest Checkout area, equipment and Shopbacks with organization of backroom supplies and supply closets
Listening for the Voice of the Guest to identify department trends for guest needs and expectations and counsel with Special Team Captain and Team Lead Guest Checkout to integrate findings to deliver value and accelerate growth

Qualifications

Customer Service experience in retail, hospitality or restaurant
4 year college degree or equivalent experience
Proven history of consistent engaging Guest Service experience
Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills

Strong cognitive skills including problem analysis
Advanced computer skills
Sense of urgency, time management, prioritization and multitasking skills
Detail oriented
Ability to maintain composure, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
Availability must reflect the needs of the business, which may change from time to time
Strong sense of team – desire to WIN together with a first-class team!
Full Time and Part Time positions available

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to perform the following physical activities regularly: Walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
Walking 90% and sitting 10% of day
Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas and/or products
Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force often and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures – walk-in coolers and freezers

Exposure to chemicals and cleaning products
Operating equipment (register, baler, compactor)
