Job Description : About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Strategy & Planning Senior Manager for UI/UX Design
In this role, you will:
Deep experience with digital user experience functions, with a core expertise in Interaction Design, Visual Design, Content Strategy, Editorial, and Design Operations/Delivery.
Ability to communicate powerfully and publicly to broad, deep and diverse audiences, including channel experts, internal and external audiences; ability to simplify complex messages for consumption
Ability to communicate trade-offs between speed and quality when considering new features and functionality or scope changes involving digital user experience
Ability to recruit, retain and grow high potential talent in a highly competitive job market. Will set stretch goals, motivate team members to high performance, and develop talent from within
Prepares team for next generation human computer interfaces
Ability to facilitate design and innovation meetings and workshops with cross functional teams – varying in length from one hour to multiple days -with the goal of determining the most optimal user experience and deep consideration of user needs (based on personas), pain points, touch points, technical feasibility and opportunity, and business goals
Ability to utilize customer insights and experience management processes and tools to create and maintain intuitive customer experiences that provide positive business value
Familiarity and comfort creating digital solutions within established front-end code frameworks (e.g. React, Angular) and native app framework/SDKs
Collaborates with key stakeholders in business, product and engineering teams to develop best in the class interfaces
An advocate for breath-taking and elegant experiences.
Manage and develop team in roles with complexity and risk
Establish business objectives and coordinate business planning
Develop strategic plans
Identify and analyze business opportunities
Propose and review product line, service changes, or expansions
Monitor economic, business, and political trends to determine potential business impact
Determine appropriate strategy and actions to meet high risk deliverables
Interpret and develop policies and procedures
Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Strategy and Planning
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Responsibilities include:
Directly managing a team of interaction designers, visual designers, content strategists/editors, UX researchers and design delivery producers
Developing and executing on the appropriate channel strategy, based on project assignment
Quality control and peer review of all experience design work
Build a strong user/customer research program to validate problems and solutions.
Driving customer-facing enhancements for channels including:
Partnering with US teams to create UX artifacts and work products including but not limited to:
Conceptual designs and prototypes
Application design solutions culminating in comprehensive screen specifications
Content strategies and associated content/editorial deliverables
Experience design delivery plans and project workflows
Visual design specifications, redlines, and style guides
Supporting channel-appropriate standards, templates, artifacts and processes that ultimately ensure reusability, scalability, extensibility, consistency, and efficiency
Building strong relationships with channel partners and experts, including delivery teams, customer insights, Channel Wide Initiatives, risk, compliance, security and fraud across the bank.
Experience required
15+ years delivering UX deliverables in one of the following disciplines: interaction design, visual design, content strategy, or production
5+ years managing UX teams
5+ years demonstrable experience with experience strategy methods like service design and rapid prototyping
PhD/Masters in Usability/UI/UX/HCI from reputed institute
Strong implementation understanding on Accessibility guidelines and ADA compliance requirements
Strong understanding on usage of AI/ML for enhancing user experience
Strong knowledge of Metaverse, VR/AR and other emerging Human Computer Interfaces to enhance user experience
Should have a working knowledge of innovation methodologies
Should have used various designing tools for wireframing and prototyping
