KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure compliance with environmental rules, regulations and procedures for all operational facilities within the Business Unit (CO, UT, WY)
Stay abreast of current air and water rules and regulations pertaining to midstream facilities
Travel to all facilities within the Business Unit to ensure compliance with air and water regulations
Time will be split between office and field work equally. Office work requires coordination with internal staff, participation in the Management of Change Process, participation in Process Hazard Analyses, report generation and data management for regulatory requirements and audit purposes. Field work requires air permit and SPCC inspections and participation in onsite drills for emergency response purposes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in the field of physical sciences, natural sciences or engineering preferred
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in oil & gas processes
A strong working knowledge of Federal, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming air regulations and programs
A history of successfully working on environmental compliance issues
Current valid driver’s license

SKILLS:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Discretion when dealing with confidential information
Ability to keep records, analyze and summarize raw data, in order to fill out and submit summary and regulatory reports
Ability to work well and communicate with facility personnel and managers
Strong computer skills required
