Job Description : Position: Resident Relations Specialist / Front Desk
Reports to: Assistant General Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA
JOB SUMMARY: Possesses strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills. Meets and greets residents; checks guests and service providers in/out. Able to understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures; monitors and operates electronic security control systems; and accurately maintains daily logs, records and forms. Assists with general concierge services and performs administrative clerical, Word and Excel document work. Walks the building premises as directed for monitoring purposes. Light housekeeping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to:

Provides a warm welcome to residents and guest
Informs all vendors of building rules and regulations
Announce all guest to resident for access
Assures all visitors are registered and authorized by homeowner to be on property
Direct guest to resident units
Administers the access control program, which includes the issuance of FOBS/property access cards/ID cards and updates tracking software.
Assists with move-in orientation for new residents.
Assures all pets, vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles are properly registered and logged in Connect.
Maintains a log of temporarily available parking spaces for resident guests and visitor use.
Manages and keeps a status log for all rental storage lockers.
Maintains complete knowledge and complies with the HOA’s policies and procedures.
Maintains fresh organized workstations with necessary supplies throughout shift as well as administers the cleanliness of the building’s entrance and lobby.
Responds to resident requests in a professional manner.
Responds to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner
Monitors all property access points (gates, garages, doors, elevator) through the operation of Closed Circuit Television where applicable. Reports all suspicious activity to proper authority to insure continued resident safety
Walks the building premises as directed for monitoring purposes as directed by the GM
Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment
Maintains daily log, records and forms using Connect
Resolves and follows-up on all complaints/issues
Provides general concierge services
Performs assigned administrative clerical, word and excel document work
Helps maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building
Consistent and regular attendance required
Have the ability to understand and complete all required forms
Occasional overtime may be required
Must have the ability to work extended hours as needed.
Attend and participate in designated meetings or functions as requested by the General Manager
May be assigned other duties by the General manager

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a variety of environmental conditions, with exposure to outdoor temperatures, weather variations, traffic and equipment noise, equipment vibrations, vehicle and/or chemical fumes, chemicals such as cleaning solvents and grease, machinery and their moving parts and dust.
