Job Description : You will provide administrative and organisational support to the People and HR Directorate, this will involve dealing with sensitive and confidential information regarding staff and pupils. It is essential to maintain the highest level of confidentiality in relation to all trust matters.

As an integral part of our People and HR directorate, this role offers a fantastic challenge for an individual who has worked in a fast-paced operational environment and is able to lead improvements in order to deliver better customer service.

You will provide excellent customer service to trust staff through following agreed processes and timescales. To achieve this through exercising ownership of all transactional HR activities during the employee life cycle. Additionally, the role involves providing HR administrative support to managers, staff and the HR team, including dealing with first line phone calls into the HR department for HR advice and co-ordination of the HR onboarding process.You will also provide support to our Chief People Officer (CPO) and provide administration support to various HR projects. The purpose of the role is to ensure our Chief People Officer has high quality administrative support, helping to enable the team’s delivery of the HR Strategic People Plan. The role may require travel to Trust educational settings and offices.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

This role is primarily to support the day to day effective running of the People and HR directorate, ensuring the systems, practices, and HR administration are coordinated efficiently and expediently. Escalating queries/complaints appropriately and in a timely way so as to give assurance and confidence to the enquirer. This role will work closely with school staff to provide efficient support across the trust to ensure uninterrupted learning and education to create a great pupil experience

Receiving and responding to all communications in a timely way. You will be acting as a point of contact for recruiting managers, applicants and interviewees.

Maintaining school records so as to ensure compliance with statutory and organisational policies and regulations including safeguarding.

The role holder will be adaptable and resilient, ready to undertake a diverse range of tasks including the following:

To ensure the smooth day to day operation of the HR administration service to the Trust, maintaining and devising efficient and effective administrative processes and procedures

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of HR projects, including necessary meeting arrangements for those involved.
Under the direction of the HR Business Partner where required, ensure that HR guidance and advice to customers at all times reflects and reinforces employment law, good practice, customer care and the provision of a high quality service.
To provide efficient administrative support and assistance to the Chief People Officer, including preparation of letters, reports, slides, spreadsheet data and graphs and servicing meetings to a high standard of presentation.
Prepare and send out recruitment correspondence for interviews, planning interview schedule, notifying candidates of date, times and venue, ensuring presentation/test details, terms and conditions etc. are included as required. Ensure that interview material and all necessary is prepared and sent to the appointing manager and interview panel in good time.
