Our client, a global law firm handling Fortune 500 corporations, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist for its downtown Los Angeles offices. Here, you will be able to use your Human Resources Specialist skills in a high-profile and well-respected firm. You’ll work with an extraordinary team in a family friendly atmosphere.
About the JobThe Human Resources Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day support of human resources activities in the Firm’s Southern California offices. Duties include assisting with the recruiting process; handling the on-boarding process, new hire orientations, ensuring completion of personnel paperwork, overseeing time sheet processing, data entry into the Firm’s HRIS, filing and other clerical duties. The Human Resources Specialist position will assist with administration of leaves of absence and workers’ compensation and support the HR Manager and Office Administrator in planning HR related activities such as Staff Appreciation week and Staff Recognition Dinner.
About YouYou are an enthusiastic Human Resources Specialist seeking bigger challenges and a place where you can grow. You are passionate about your career and look to the future in terms of moving up the HR ladder. You have at least 2 years Human Resources Specialist experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. (Retail, manufacturing, etc. does not qualify.) You have a BA and stable work history and can bring a lot to the table to a new employer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $87,000.00 per year
