Job Overview:

Chicago Fire Football Club is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our team! This individual will report to the Senior Director of People & Talent and will be responsible for carrying out responsibilities in the following functional areas: payroll & benefit administration, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS management & employment law compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

Administer & process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls; gather compensation details for bi-weekly and semi-monthly pay periods, input data into the pay grid and partner with the Senior Human Resources Generalist to ensure accuracy of the payroll register.
Synchronize employee contributions in our 401k system with contributions in the pay grid each pay period.
Administer benefits for all full-time employees, including enrollments, COBRA, FMLA, LOA, terminations and claims.
Oversee and properly maintain all personnel files; ensure government and state compliance is upheld.
Maintain human resource information system (HRIS), update employee records when changes occur, and compile reports as requested from the HRIS.
Assist with the recruiting function by posting positions, creating job descriptions, partnering with personnel to fill the necessary roles, sourcing resumes, pre-screening applicants, scheduling interviews, etc.
Conduct new-employee onboarding orientations and check-in meetings with new hires post-hire.
Update and disperse the club’s organization charts and the employee directory.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Complete verification of employment requests, IDES reporting and MLS reporting.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business-related field
2 years of previous Human Resources Generalist experience
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of employees and work well on a team
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, adapt to different scenarios, interact with all levels of employees and collaborate effective cross-departmentally
Proficient in Microsoft suite
