Responsible for a particular Division/location or activity, working with minimal supervision. Will advise line management on Human Resources policy issues and be responsible for undertaking projects relating to the formulation, development and implementation of future policy.
Typical Accountabilities
Participates in setting and executing against the strategic direction of the business area
Responsible for managing projects in multi-disciplinary projects, covering several areas, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, learning & development, performance management, people management, employee relations and change management
Liaises with senior management to understand business requirements and tailor specific solutions
Works across the HR function and business, seeks to ensure interventions are integrated in a consistent way that supports AZ’s organisational objectives
Acts as primary point of contact for HR policy issues
Coaches, supports, mentors and challenges managers in the application of HR policies and practices, provides advice and guidance on complex HR issues to minimise risk and financial exposure
Drives and supports the development and delivery of cultural change plans and interventions
Drives employee engagement in collaboration with the business leaders
Manages the Manpower Planning exercise in collaboration with the different stakeholders
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Solid HR Business Partnering experience
Strong business acumen
Ability to build and maintain relationships
Outstanding stakeholder management skills
Experience working in a matrix organization
Solid influencing skills
Excellent Communication skills
Desirable:
HR Degree or MBA in Human Resources
