The individual will work within the Hyperion team to determine the Hyperion system requirements for enhancements and new initiatives. This person will have responsibility for developing and interpreting technical specifications used to support interfaces, reports, consolidation (HFM) rules, and other technical components of the environment, understanding project management concepts and deliverables. This person will need to be able to document and pro-actively address change management and governance issues and assist in creating test plans, test scripts/cases and executing test scripts to test developed objects where applicable. They will also be responsible for general support queries and associated support documentation.
The role would work within the Hyperion team supporting the Management Information Reporting Systems (MIRS) environment.
The Role

Monitor progress against project plan and communicate status to project manager, lead consultant or internal client, as appropriate
Work with Internal Hyperion Stakeholders as appropriate to define requirements, manage expectations and assist with the analysis of issues.
Provide strong coordination with EPM Development and Data Warehouse teams for new initiatives and problem resolution activities.
Ensure requirements for changes and enhancements are properly defined, have proper approvals and follow appropriate channels for testing and migrating to test and production environments.
Develop systems specifications, process flows, and conversion strategies
Be able to develop comprehensive test plans, scripts and cases
Perform unit and comprehensive testing with system developers to ensure overall functionality and technical quality of deliverables
Trouble shoot technical issues and problems, partnering with developers
Escalate issues through internal channels or directly with Oracle support as necessary
Production of support documentation to reduce support ticket levels where applicable
Be prepared to work flexibly to meet the needs of team and project timetables.
The Requirements

Master’s in Computer Science
At least five years of experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Applications along with FDM(EE) v11.1.2.3 and/or v11.1.2.4.
Experience with Hyperion 11.2 or Hyperion SaaS module(s) is a plus.
Development experience with HFM rules, FDMEE scripts is a must
Knowledge in EPBCS, Essbase Module and Financial Reporting is a plus.
Strong organizational skills; must be able to prioritize, and multi-task
Strong communication skills; articulate and able to communicate with associates from different functional areas and IT.
Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
Must be able to project a positive and professional image.
Must be able to use critical thinking skills to determine best approach to problem solving.
Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
Have a strong aptitude for accuracy and must be detail oriented.
Experience in systems development within an agreed development life cycle.
