Position : Instagram Stories Creator
Job Description : Please note: This role requires that you must have a verifiable track record of creating high high engagement Instagram stories and feed posts in the fields of parenting, education, health and wellness, and / or children’s lifestyle products.
Big Life Journal is the international e-commerce publisher and producer of mindset development tools and products for children, parents, educators and child welfare practitioners. We are seeking a reliable, flexible, enthusiastic and talented Instagram Content Creator — with a successful track record in the fields of parenting, education, health and wellness, and / or children’s lifestyle products — on a part-time contract basis.
Scope of work:
IG STORIES — daily parenting, education, child-rearing and care-taker advice, tips, and other related information.
Pitch interactive Instagram story (multi-frame storylines) ideas that tie together Value Content and Lead Magnets
Write / create the stories (not just conceive the concepts)
(Preferred) Also publish the stories and track / respond to comments; save / regram shares; etc.
IG FEED CAROUSELS — daily parenting, education, child-rearing and care-taker advice, tips, and other related information.
Pitch carousel content that engages, informs and sparks conversation
Strong preference for a content creator who can also graphically format / produce carousels (with our existing brand assets) in Canva
OTHER
Other content creation opportunities across social media are available but our urgent need is in maintaining the quality of our wildly popular IG account.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A successful track record in the fields of parenting, education, health and wellness, and / or children’s lifestyle products
Must have a thick skin. We are very particular about our presence and what it means to our followers. So it’s key that the IG Content Creator is open to direction and critique and being educated as to what works for our audience
Native / Fluent English language and excellent communication skills
U.S. / Canada residents only, please
Experience working within a remote team environment and the flexibility that often demands

Create one multi-frame stories sequence you think our followers would want to view (through to the end)
Submit that sample as a link to a pdf, Canva file, video — as well as your tailored cover and resume
(We were required a salary figure for the advert but our preference is to pay per content piece at a mutually agreed rate.)
