Position : Instructor – Public Health Genomics

Job Description : The Institute of Public Health (IPH) at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University, is seeking to appoint a full-time Instructor to contribute to its teaching and research activities in Public Health Genomics. We are looking to appoint a suitable candidate with training, experience and achievements in the field of Public Health Genomics.
The successful candidate will also share administrative work in the IPH and the College of Medicine including serving on committees, invigilating examinations and contributing to student assessments.
Prospective applicants are expected to have the ability to work independently and take academic initiatives. Demonstrated awareness of cultural, privacy and confidentiality issues as well as good team working skills and flexibility with working hours is expected. Fluency in English is required. A working knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic, Urdu/Hindi or other languages will be an advantage.

Minimum Qualification
The Instructor must hold a master degree and doctoral degree in Public Health from an accredited university. Applicants should have teaching and research experience in the field of Public Health and overall practical and academic experience in the above field.

Preferred Qualification
DrPH or PhD in Public Health with special emphasis on genomics.
