Position : Insurance Coordinator
Job Description : Counseling and educating the insured patient, Consultant doctors and the paramedical staff about the insurance policies and procedures.Communication and coordination with the insurance companies, doctors, and the patient’s for pre-authorization, admissions under insurance and enhancements.To verify, rectify and certify all the medicals records and insurance documents of a insured patient’s on daily basis.To answer all the medical queries raised by the insurance companies for pre-authorization and payments to the hospitals.Preauthorization Discharge and enhancements – To process claims for pre-authorization, discharges and follow up meticulously.To certify discharges and surgical clearances through insurance coverage.To update and send the insurance status to all concerned staff on regular basis.To update the billing and the insured patient about the status amount approved, denials and interim enhancements.To identify the flaws and negative aspects pertaining to insurance processing and procedures in the hospital.Timely submission of Insurance documents to the insurance companies.To educate the insured patient about the re-imbursements procedures and guide them for a possible re-imbursements in case of denials of cashless.To co-ordinate with operations team, consultant doctors, registers, nursing, ward secretaries and the billing for betterment of insurance services in the hospital.To represent the all-insurance companies and the insured patient on behalf of the medical team of the hospital.Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per monthBenefits:Health insuranceSchedule:Rotational shiftExperience:Hospital: 2 years (Preferred)
