Job Description
We have an immediate opportunity for a Intercompany Buyer to join us at our diverse team. Responsible for managing the planning to effectively create and maintain an efficient production schedule that meet customer requirements ensuring material flow across the supply chain to support current month and next month plans regulating the product mix, minimizing cycle times and effective utilizing inventory. Drive RTS model, Interco Trade business Order management, SIOP, Customer OTD, ABCQ Lead times, Risk and Opportunity for the month, Interco – Min-Max workbench, MMA, ERP.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Build strong relations with Interco Plants for Parts Supply for RTS Business
Responsible for RTS (Rupee Trade System) Demand Vs Supply Model – Interco Buyer responsibility
Co-ordination with Sales for effective RTS Sales model (SIOP)
Order management with Interco Plants
Monitoring/Analyzing Intercompany Supply (capacity, Changes in demand / min-max)
Review Interco Pulse ship dates and Open Sales Orders, weekly shortage Reports and ensure correct part availability
Coordinate with intercompany plants through weekly calls to review critical items, demand changes and provide visibility/ supply assured.
Review & fulfill Interco Open discrete Orders
Lear the RTS Team, Review with Buyers & Co-ordination with Sales departments for RTS Sales.
Review daily progress of production & sales to Management & highlights the threats by daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports (Past due, OTD, Ops Review).
Liaising with the SIOP Process to optimize sales and to meet the targets with respect to business plan and capacity booking. (Leading SIOP Meeting – Demand Review, Alignment, Final (LT) SIOP), Interco Trade business Order management.
Balancing customer requirements (Intercompany, OEMs & distribution), operational stability and financial impacts for better business results.
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
6-8 years of experience in Planning & procurement in Engg. Company preferably in Auto Component or Hydraulic Industry
Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes as well material planning, Inventory management etc.
Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal)
Strong relationship with suppliers as well as customers – Internal and External
Cross functions team working skills due to matrix organization reporting
Order management experience
