Key functional area:
Windows Servers Administration
Supporting and Administrating Active Directory and Exchange Server
Installation and configuration of Windows based operating systems
Installation and configuration of Microsoft office
Active Directory (DNS, DHCP), User group policies creation and modification
Regular data and mail backup of MS outlook
Network setting for TCP/IP and Internet setup
Provide technical resource in ongoing/new projects
Configure and manage of laptops and desktops
Knowledge of Microsoft Window Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, File Server Access, Raid Controller, Backup, Group Policy, Virtualization, switches
Essential Office network setup and administration experience
Key responsibilities:
Engineering software installations, mainly CAD software’s. (Solid works, Inventor, AutoCAD etc.)
Troubleshooting, installing, and updating desktop PC hardware, software, printers, scanners, phones and other peripherals
Configuration and set-up of all new server systems required internally for the company’s activities
Firewall administration, anti-virus updates and overall responsibility for company IT security
Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights
Provide telephone and desktop support to internal users and provide training where necessary
Manage all network hardware and equipment including routers, switches, and hubs
Ensure network connectivity of all workstations
Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected
Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
Solve technical systems problems quickly and automate processes
Requirements
Job Position: Desktop Support Engineer
Education: Any IT Graduate (Must have Microsoft Windows certification, Cloud technology will be added advantage)
Experience: 4-8 Years
Domain Knowledge: LAN, VAN, Active directory, DNS, Storage, Switching, VPN, Firewall, Backup, Asset management, Cloud Concepts
Software Skills: Windows 10, Windows Server, Virtualization Technology, O365, VM on cloud
Personal Attributes: Good in communication
