Job Description : IT Helpdesk Technician
Job Brief
Assist the IT Tech troubleshooting desktop hardware/software problems, and carrying out projects as assigned in a culturally diverse environment. Properly document support, repair, and project activities using a helpdesk ticketing system.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate and complete documentations for company policies and procedures.
· Provide technical assistance to office staff as needed
· Perform routine PC maintenance and updates for performance efficiency
· Add or update workstations for office staff
· Maintain standard filing system for easy and quick document access and retrieval
· Ask questions and get information in order to diagnose computer problems and discern what level of support is needed when a problem is presented
· Work as part of a team in stressful situations; maintain composure and sense of humor in the face of heavy workload and constant interruptions
· Able to show respect to other cultures and work in a culturally diverse environment
· Assist in maintaining Internet service, firewalls, and telephone systems
· Assist in software and hardware upgrades
· Perform other duties as assigned
· Participate in On Call rotation
Requirements
· High School diploma or GED
· Proficient in Office365, Active Directory, and Windows OS
· Ability to troubleshoot common hardware/software issues
· Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
· Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously, but also able to recognize when you are in over your head
· Ability to quickly gain new skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges
· Attention to detail
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
