We’re looking for a passionate intern to join our IT team. The IT intern will provide direct technical assistance and support to Aera Employees, Contractors & Customers for network, hardware, and software issues. This role will be based in our Pune office.
Responsibilities
Respond to user requests, troubleshoot problems, and help develop solutions
Support Laptop hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software
Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needsIdentify and report system issues to vendors. Monitor and test resolution of those issues sent to vendors
Record activities, solutions, and other responses to requests for service
Contribute to Aera’s technical documentation and participate in policy, procedure, and standards development
Develop and provide user training for basic hardware and software use
Managing & maintaining assets inventory which includes keeping the record up to date on a day-to-day basis for all asset movement (In / out / in-stock / faulty status) working with a vendor for faulty assets repair
Work with the HR team to have forecasting on new hires and maintain sufficient stock with spare laptops
Coordinate with the IT and People team globally
About You
A positive attitude and a passion to learnBE in Computer Science/IT/ Electronics & Communications
Can start immediately and available for a full time internship, must be available for 6 months minimum
Exceptional customer service skills, solid troubleshooting skills, ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must have awareness of the PC industry’s current and emerging technology trends and direction, as well as a keen interest in computer-based information systems and technology
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems
