Position : Junior Accountant’s Needed – Massive Expansion

Job Description : Growing and Dynamic company looking to hire MULTIPLE Junior Accountant’s to work at 4 locations within Downtown LA, Culver City, Carson and Hollywood

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Reconcile various bank accounts by compiling and balancing financial information.
Corrects accounting errors and posts journal entry adjustments.
Prepares fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
Updates and maintains general ledger accounts by keeping close track of accounts receivable details and control accounts.
Assists in processing accounts receivables and incoming payments.
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting customers.
Preparing invoices and bank deposits.
Expands knowledge base by participating in educational programs and reading accounting publications.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. BS/BA degree in related field highly preferred.
2+ years• related experience preferred.
Firm grasp of basic and intermediate accounting principles.
Willingness to meet deadlines on a consistent basis.
Must be computer savvy with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Superb organization skills, attention to detail and prioritizing ability.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and switch tasks quickly.
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
Ability to use good judgment in sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.
