Purpose:
To purchase, at the best possible price and quality any goods or services to the current standard or advised specification as required by the company to the timescale dictated by the needs of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Problem solver, detail focused, analytical and objective drive.To ensure timely purchase order placement in line with planned demand for ‘Designated Suppliers’ to support purchasing for local and intercompany transactions.To manage ‘Designated Suppliers’ cost delivery and quality.To ensure timely receipt of items ordered from ‘Designated Suppliers’.Obtain quotations on an ad-hoc basis as requested from internal customers, record and respond within a timely manner.Expediting of un-received orders as required ensuring no late deliveries.Communicate effectively at any level within the business as circumstances dictate.Resolve any query invoices to aid the cash-flow of the business within the month of issue.Perform basic clerical duties within the department.Provide ad-hoc reports as requested by the department manager.Carry out job related tasks safely constantly operating to good working practices.All filing relevant to ‘Designated Suppliers’.
Accountabilities: (Deliverables)
Ensure responses are given within the required timeframe.Ensure quotations are given in accordance with Company rules and customer agreements.Ensure all relevant paperwork is compliant and in accordance with quality procedures.Carry out any other reasonable request made by the company to smooth peaks and troughs within the company, including any exceptional stock check need.

Purchasing.Sales.Suppliers.

Education / Qualifications:
Secondary school qualifications.
Technical Competencies:
Minimum 1-2 years in a similar role.
Key Skills:
Ability to liaise with Stores Persons.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Team player.Able to efficiently manage multiple tasks and conflicting demands.QHSE performance.Competency.Achieve best prices coupled with serviceComputer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Experience:
MRP experienceExcel
QHSE Competencies:
Maintain behaviour in compliance with Forum HSE requirementsMaintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behaviourReport any unsafe or environmentally unsound acts and conditions to their immediate Supervisor such that remedial action can be taken to manage the risk.
