Do you have a unique combination of deep technical knowledge, business acumen and strong interpersonal skills? Siemens Advanta Development in Bangalore is hiring innovative Lead Engineers to define appropriate solutions, software architectures for applications running on IoT platforms like Siemens MindSphere, AWS or Azure.
This is your role. What part will you play?
POC for technical questions on the design and development of IT solution concepts and IT architectures – includes the creation of design specifications for the cloud platform.
Evaluate, identify and define potential interfaces for solution components.
Ability to estimate complex solutions, provide response to RFQs with the Architect.
Excellent interpersonal skills – collaboration with Product team/customer, presentation with confidence.
Own the software development (Web/Mobile etc.) until handover to customers to ensure a stable and scalable use of the solution; build production grade software.
Adherence to Product and Solution Security (PSS) process.
Good to have knowledge of (connectivity) communication protocols.

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or equivalent education qualification.
Overall 8+ years of IT experience with at least >5 years of experience in designing complex software architectures, solutioning down to the detail with domain expertise.
Practice agile development methods (e.g., SCRUM), be able to mentor the developers.
In-depth knowledge of relational / non-relational database architectures (e.g., MS-SQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, Cassandra).
Technological understanding of current web / app technologies and design paradigms (HTML5 / JavaScript, Angular, MVC frameworks, Microservices and SOA architectures, build environments).
Sufficiently aware of modern software technologies like Cloud, Big Data, .NET, JAVA, Containerization, Orchestration, Streaming platforms, Analytics, CI CD, Security and development tools like Jira, MS TFS, GitLab, etc.
