Position : Logistics Coordinator

Job Description : Must have working knowledge of government permit web portals (USDA, CFIA) including application of New permits and amending/renewal of existing permits.
Must be able to determine required permits, per shipment, based on information provided by Customer Service and/or Lab personnel. If the information provided is incomplete, must be able to investigate properly
Establish and monitor the elements of NA compliance with respect to the various regulations.
Establish NA procedures for sending and receiving samples or products (internal and third-party flows) manage the logistics activity of samples and products by controlling in particular: Flow traceability, Product classification (HS Codes), Relations with Customs clearance partners, Government agencies and Other third parties
Ensure the inventory and the validity of the import / export permits of the various entities, remotely train the various locations in the basics of import / export. Keep the training elements up to date (website, flyers and procedures), monitoring of regulatory changes, Anticipation and risk management, Act as an expert on the selection of brokering suppliers and customs clearance providers.
Manage Logistics supplier agreements.
Ensure good data level to create and manage KPI’s for NA logistics processes.
Workout the paperwork and all needs in order to support any location when needed.
Guide and training other employees involved in the logistics processes in order to guarantee adherence and compliance.

This role needs to have a background in logistics companies and activities mainly related with the bureaucratic part of obtaining permits for MXNS routines.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
