Job Description:
Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment. Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components. Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product. Internal Job Description: Coordinates movement of program and customer hardware between NGIS sites (e.g. Chandler AZ, Huntsville AL, Promontory UT, etc.), suppliers, and launch sites (e.g. Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Marshall Islands, Australia, etc.). This includes completion of shippers, physical transfer of hardware, and compliance with all paperwork and program requirements including transportation requests and DD1149 for the transfer of government assets. Coordinates the spares, tools, test equipment, and related manuals to be deployed, staged, and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment.
Responsibilities include:

Primary Location: Promontory Utah GBSD Facility
Work with the Transportation Department to request trucks that meet the requirements of the program while considering cost
Track all equipment movements between locations ensuring the equipment tracking data management system reflects the current location of all items
Ensure all shipments are packaged per the LV Standards and the Program’s requirements
Physically move flight hardware, GSE, and all other integration equipment within the factory and at the field site; fork lift operator a plus
Proactively identify and escalate potential gaps in transportation, packaging, timing
Resolve conflicts between current state and desire states of material movement
Engage with site and I&T leads to coordinate all activities for each of the needs/restrictions of the sites
Work closely with all aspects of Program Operations to avoid schedule impacts and optimize material movement
Execute to the plans laid out by the Logistics Management Analyst in support of Program specific requirements

Basic Qualifications:

HS Diploma + 4 year experience in logistics planning and transportation tracking
Active Security Clearance required to start (requires U.S. Citizenship)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, great attitude, and ability to work well with all levels in the organization
MS Office Suite, computer literacy
Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred DoD experience with deployments
Previous experience leading/coordinating small work teams

Salary Range: $39,800 USD – $66,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
