Position : Manual QA – Innovisk
Job Description : RESPONSIBILITIES
Create Test Plans from requirements and high-level designs including acceptance criteria.
Participate in the design and creation of test cases including details or steps
Execute and report on manual test cases
Analyze and record results of test execution
Analyze discrepancies in test execution to find the source
Report defects where necessary
Support UAT with test coverage during repro with the business, closing fixes with development, and status to the
project team
Close fixed bugs by retesting and provide status to the team.
Create and improve testing tools
QUALIFICATIONS
Non-Technical
Speak to a system testing approach based on industry standards.
Speak to a practice of functional testing for web sites and links vs. services.
Speak to the practice of functional testing for application integration.
Speak to the practice of testing mobile devices and different user formats.
Speak to the role of QA during UAT.
Speak to an approach to regression testing for upgrades versus iterative releases.
Reviews and clarifies requirements and designs
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong commitment to build reliable solutions
Ability to quickly assimilate new and complex technologies and concepts
Technical
Knowledge of Test Director or Azure DevOps as defect management tool.
Any Engineering or Computer Science degree with a minimum of 3+ years relevant experience in software quality assurance
Familiarity with scripting languages at any level
Familiarity with insurance industry a plus
Experience with Agile projects
Experience with Azure DevOps for version control and SDLC
Experience with ALM and testing tools.
Experience with global applications
Bachelor’s degree
