Position : Marathi Experiential Educator (Part-Time)
Job Description : Role: Marathi Experiential Educator (Part-Time)
Responsibilities: Your primary responsibility will be of teaching Marathi for grades Grade 1 to Grade 7 in a progressive manner. This is a part-time position. The total teaching hours per week would be about 6 to 7; planning and crew – another 8-10 hours. Responsibilities include:
Creating a progressive Marathi curriculum and designing projects (based on the Project-Based-Learning pedagogy)
Developing strong one-to-one relations with students and parents
Helping students take charge of their own learning
Documenting student progress for report card
Assigning classwork and homework as necessary, according to lesson plans
Modifying teaching styles to fit the learning styles of various students
Maintaining a well-managed classroom and positive learning environment
Attending parent-teacher meetings
Additional responsibilities include:
Supervising students out of class, such as in the hallways
Participating in parent outreach / marketing initiatives
Admissions counselling
Prerequisites
Impeccable Written & Spoken Marathi
Prior Experience of a minimum 2 years of teaching Marathi in a school setting is required.
Love for learning and research
Flexible, friendly and good at establishing quick rapport with students
Ability to work in teams
Humility
Salary (CTC) Rs. 12,000 – 15,000 Selection Process
