Who We Are:
The National Sinus Institute (NSI) is a corporation consisting of multiple Ear Nose and Throat clinics spreading across the United States. Our vision expanded to create an organization that could help to meet the needs of underserved communities throughout the country. With over 17 medical offices, we need a billing specialist capable of processing claims and providing superb customer service.
As a Biller for our company, you will be responsible for providing and contributing to the company’s mission, vision, and values by accurately billing all diagnosis and procedures from medical records with proper ICD-10 and CPT codes. You will be responsible for submitting claims to third party payers, applying contractual adjustments and credit balance reviews of your set billing alphabet.
SHIFT:
· No Weekends, Monday to Friday
SCHEDULE:
· Full-time (30-40 hours per week, hours moderately flexible)
PAY:
To be determined based on experience
SUPPLEMENTAL PAY:
· Monthly bonus opportunity
EXPERIENCE:
· Medical billing: 1 year (required)

What you will do in this role:

You will submit and upload insurance and patient bills
You will apply contractual adjustments
You will monitor logs to make sure claims are submitted and received properly
You will correct rejected claims and re-bill in a timely manner
You will follow-up with insurance companies to ensure receipt of bills within 30 days.
You will not be coding, we have a medical coder for this, but you will be working rejected claims.
