Project: This is a 3 million sq. ft. high-rise residential project in south Mumbai with a panoramic view of the racecourse, comprising of three 250 metres – 270 metres tall towers, 3 basements, and a nine-level podium structure with 60-70 habitable floors.
The role will be providing support in the day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out preconstruction studies including the concept design of temporary works.
Working alongside the Mace planners in developing construction strategies and sequences.
Implementing the pre-construction studies through the design and construction phases of projects.
Providing a land survey and setting out with the use of total stations.
Managing the project and design’s structural packages.
Managing the structural/cladding interface.
Interfacing between design consultants, client and the construction team. Establishing the scope of design duties and responsibilities.
Confronting and clarifying design responsibilities.
Overseeing the value engineering of consultant’s designs for build-ability.
Reviewing and accepting the contractor’s method statements and temporary works.
Providing onsite support to construction managers.
Keeping abreast of new techniques and technological advances.
Seeking out and resolving design and construction interface issues before they become issues.
Managing the site and supporting temporary works coordinators.
Assisting in managing the limited detailed design of temporary works.
About you
You have a relevant degree qualification. You have proven experience in construction with a mixture of design and site. You have working experience in high-rise project (50+ floors) with ACS/jump formwork construction system planning. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships. You will have experience/background in the hotel, hospitality, residential and/or commercial project experience from start through to completion within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike.
