Project: This is a high-rise residential project in Byculla, Mumbai comprising of three towers with 3 basements, 10 podium levels and up to 70+ habitable floors.
Your responsibilities will include:
Attending contractor progress meetings and weekly/monthly construction team meetings.
Assisting with the review of civils/structure main contractor(s), subcontractor(s) and specialist suppliers’ method statements and report non-compliance or inaccuracies.
Contributing to the production and agreement of the programmes of work with civils/structure main contractor(s), subcontractor(s) and specialist suppliers.
Commenting on civils/structure main contractor(s), subcontractor(s) and specialist suppliers’ monthly valuations.
Attending off site inspections and agree delivery strategy with contractor(s) and the design team. Arranging final quality inspections for sign off of areas.
Assisting the site manager in managing the project image including conditions of hoardings, lighting, signage, entrances, housekeeping etc.
Reviewing and understanding scope of work each trade, detailed design, specification and method. Inputting into build ability reviews.
Processing structure/civils RFI’s in conjunction with relevant members of the team and drive through answers are provided.
Preparing daily site reports, including requirements for notices etc.
Assisting the site manager with managing the site security, site logistics and material distribution.
About you
You have a degree qualification or diploma in mechanical engineering and complete knowledge of MEP works. You have experience in large scale high-rise (50+ stories project) construction projects. You have a broad knowledge of construction techniques with high technical expertise.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You have knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques and concepts. You have involvement in managing the civil & finishes the consultancy side in high-rise projects and be keen to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
