Job Description : Eligibility
Our Vacation Scheme is open to students and recent graduates who would be able to commence a 2-year training contract in 2025.
For exceptional students the Vacation Scheme may lead to an interview for a Middle East Training Contract.

Responsibilities
Our Vacation Scheme is designed to offer outstanding opportunities for you to experience what a career at Clifford Chance involves. You’ll gain insights into our exciting, stimulating, and challenging work. You will be close to the action and will have the opportunity to work with experienced lawyers in one of practice areas – Corporate, Global Financial Markets, Litigation, Real Estate. It really is a unique learning experience. Throughout the scheme, you will also receive the support of a supervising associate and trainee ‘buddy’ who will help guide you and will be someone who you can turn to at any stage. The expectation will be for you to be eager to learn, ask questions, and immerse yourself as much as possible. There will be many opportunities for networking and socialising with CC employees in our Middle East offices and you are encouraged to make the most of these and your time with us.

Experience and Skills
We’re looking for graduates who are genuinely interested in the law and committed to a career in the Middle East. Candidates with strong ties to the region and fluent Arabic skills are preferred for our ME Vacation Scheme.
You do not need to have prior legal experience or a law degree to apply to us. As our Vacation Scheme may lead to a Training Contract, we will expect you to be a problem-solver with strong communication skills and commercial acumen. The competencies that we look for in our interns (and trainees) include:
Client focus and marketing skills
Leadership, community, and collaboration skills
Innovation and best delivery skills
Strategy and commercial insight skills
Relationship building and networking
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Ability to identify legal vs business issues

The Application Process
Applications are open now and close at MIDNIGHT on 10th April 2022 (GST). We do not recruit on a rolling basis and we do not review applications until after the deadline has passed.
We will only review the information on your application form at the point of submission – any changes made after this will not be taken into consideration so please refrain from making any changes after you have submitted.
Once we have screened the applications, those who have been successful will be sent an automated video link interview to complete by 19th April 2022 as final round of the screening process.
The Vacation Scheme will take place in our Dubai and Abu Dhabi office between 20th June – 1st July 2022.
