Your Role and Responsibilities
Candidate should have exposure to WMQ 7.x, 8.x and 9.x Product features.
Candidate should have worked on MQ on – Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris, HP and Mainframe platform.
Candidate should be able to perform independently.
Good understanding of – How MQ works – Inter Process Communication – MQ Objects and its usage – Should have hands-on experience in – Installation and Configuration of MQ on various platform – Migration of MQ from Lower version to Higher Version. Creating Queue Manager and its configuration. Creating Queue, Listener, Channels, triggers etc. Creation and managing MQ Cluster – HA Configuration. Taking traces and analysis of same . Problem identification and solving skills . Analysis of MQ Error Log, FDC, Trace Dump File etc.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 3 – 4 years of shown experience with WebSphere infrastructure
Proven knowledge at configuration of WebSphere V7.0 including backup-config and restore-config profiles
Working knowledge and take initiative in WebSphere V8.0 implementation, support, Workload Management and Performance Tuning
Proficient to lead and drive third parties to the quick resolution of change. Exposure to infrastructure technologies
Experience in WebSphere performance monitoring/tuning and optimization/capacity planning
Validated expertise in Level 1/2 Support Experience in fixing with at least one of middleware or reciprocal development platform and support other team members
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Experience in scripting for automation of application deployments and other infrastructure components
Ability to monitor Applications, Generated core dumps and Heap dumps with support from team members along with experience on urban code
