Job Description : Responsibilities
Join our dynamic team as a Nurse Practitioner in our Dermatology Practice

The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Dermatology “Standardized Procedures” (SP). By using the SPs the NP is able to change treatment regimen after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings (Ca Nursing Practice Act, subsection(b) of Section 2725). Provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. Participate in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provide education and support, as well as make appropriate referrals. Document services rendered. The NP may have to report to multiple Dermatology locations.

Qualifications
Required
CA RN and CA NP license – required
MSN/DNP with Adult or FNP Specialty – required
National Certification in NP Specialty – required
BLS certification from ARC or AHA- required
Previous NP experience – preferred
Previous dermatology experience – preferred
Experience with Cryo-gun, Lasers, Dermatoscope, Phototherapy Booth, Photodynamic Therapy, Microneedling, Excimer Phototherapy, IPledge, Accucheck- preferred
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel
Skill in working independently and following through with minimum directions
Document patient care in an concise and comprehensive manner
the NP may have to report to multiple Dermatology locations.
NPI : less than 6 months NP exp
NPII: 6+ months NP experience
