Oliver Wyman is looking for an Junior Translator (Arabic-English) to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
The Opportunity
Oliver Wyman Middle East is looking for highly skilled bilingual translator with 1-5 years’ experience translating professional client materials between English and Arabic in a business environment (preferably in Management Consultancy or other professional services) and have good understanding of culture and language localization in the region.
You will join our professional translation support function and give you the opportunity to work on various industries and build your career.

Key Responsibilities:
You’ll be professionally translating between English and Arabic business and technical documents, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained, including, Published marketing reports, Generic marketing presentations, Client proposals, Client presentations and other internal presentations and documents
You’ll liaise with clients to discuss any unclear points and consults with subject matter experts and project teams in order to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately
Researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation
Using highly specialized translation software to encourage efficiency and consistency Retaining and developing knowledge on specialist areas of translation;
Adhering to industry quality standards to ensure that all completed work follows legal and ethical obligation
Who we are looking for:
You’ll be Degree qualified, preferably with post-graduate qualification in translation/interpretation
You’ll have at 2-5 years’ experience in translating/interpreting in a business environment, preferably in management consulting, professional services or financial services
You’ll be fluent in English (written and spoken) and be a native Arabic speaker
You should apply if you share our passion for translation, are highly motivated and have a keen eye for detail. You are also deadline driven, organized and understand how people view and understand content.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel – and in computer assisted translation (CAT) tool, e.g. SDL Trados is essential
