The Ergos Grain bank platform empowers farmers by providing them with a choice on when, how much quantity and at what price they want to sell their produce, thus maximising their income.FB: ERGOS Twitter: MYERGOS YouTube: ERGOS LinkedIn: ERGOS Web: http://www.ergos.in/ JobTitle: Engineering Manager – WEBRoles and Responsibilities: · Scoping, planning, and technical architecture reviews.· Grow and manage the skills, talent in the organization.· Mentor and lead team(s) – Responsible for day-to-day management of Services development team.· Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Operations, and other delivery teams to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects.· Drive automated solutions that enable better efficiency and process improvement Expertise: – 8+ years- experience, with at least 1 years as Engineering Manager.· Hands-on with Web based Technologies (Java, Kubernetes), Micro services architecture, design patterns and frameworks – Familiar with Docker toolkit.· Experience working with caches, app servers, web containers.· Experience working in any front-end Technologies – Angular, React, JS – Understanding of datastores, MSSQL, Mango DB.· Experience with git or likes – good understanding of development practices and tools, DevOps, release engineering and infrastructure management.· Hands on experience with complex project management, agile based preferred.· Comfortable working with a distributed team.· Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computers engineering, computer science or related technical field.Your Key Responsibilities· Responsible for the overall software development life cycle.· Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments.· Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment.· Management of departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, enhancing, and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team.· You will be responsible to architect solutions using innovative technology ideas and industry-leading methodologies.· Lead from the front and architect the web application to be modular and use best practices to enable rapid iteration.· Work closely with Product Management and other engineering leaders in a cross-functional capacity.· You will provide feedback to both designers and developers on technical feasibility, speed and optimization, and possible alternatives to difficult interactions or animations.· You will be responsible to mentor geographically distributed teams. * Provide thought leadership to the team around new technologies, processes, and approaches.· Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach.· Contribute substantially to innovation and overcome technology limitations to deliver on customer experience.· You will continuously evaluate relevant technologies, influence and drive architecture and design discussions * Report on the status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management.Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentPay: Up to ₹3,500,000.00 per yearSchedule:Day shiftMorning shift
